We are seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to join our team as School Transportation Drivers/Monitors.
In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the safety and reliable transportation of students to and from school. Some routes may require the presence of a monitor in addition to a driver to enhance the safety and support provided to students during their commute.

Safe Transportation Safely operate your vehicle to transport students to and from school, following all traffic laws and safety regulations. Maintain a calm and controlled environment to ensure the safety of all passengers.
Punctuality Arrive at designated pick-up and drop-off locations on time, ensuring students reach school and/or return home without delay.
Route Familiarity Familiarize yourself with assigned routes to optimize efficiency and minimize travel time. Adapt to traffic, road closures, or route changes as needed.
Vehicle Maintenance Perform routine inspections on your vehicle and ensure its optimal maintenance according to the standards required by the company.
Communication Maintain open and effective communication with the transportation coordinator. Relay important information regarding trip delays, absences, or other relevant details.
Student Support Create a positive and supportive environment for students during transit. Provide assistance as needed, such as helping with seat belts or ensuring proper use of safety equipment.
Monitored Routes For routes that require a monitor, collaborate closely, with the driver, to ensure the well-being of all students on board. Monitor and address student behavior, assist with special needs accommodations, and maintain a comfortable and inclusive atmosphere.
Emergency Preparedness Be prepared to respond calmly and efficiently in emergencies, accidents, or unexpected situations. Follow established protocols for student evacuation, if necessary.
Professionalism Uphold a professional appearance and demeanor at all times. Represent LXD Texas LLC and the school district positively in the community.
This is a position with a schedule based on the school hours. Morning and afternoon trips will align around school start and end times.
